You deserve more from your photographer than someone who shows up with a camera, takes beautiful photos, and sends you a gallery a few weeks later.
Your photographs matter—a lot. But so does everything that happens before them.
You deserve to feel taken care of. You deserve to know what happens next. You deserve someone in your corner who can help turn all the ideas floating around in your head into something that actually feels like you.
That’s what my approach to photography is built around.
Whether you’re planning a wedding beneath the pines, eloping somewhere along the Oregon Coast, celebrating your engagement, or documenting the season of life you’re in right now, my job starts long before you step in front of my camera.
You bring the vision. I help you figure out the rest.
You don’t need to show up knowing exactly where you want to take photos, what time will give you the best light, what you should wear, how long you need photography coverage, or what the hell you’re supposed to do with your hands.
That’s part of what you’re hiring me for.
When you have a vision, I want to hear all of it—the place you’ve been dreaming about, the boots you already know you’re wearing, the photographs you keep saving, the way you want the day to feel.
And if you don’t have the whole vision figured out yet? That’s completely fine, too.
You can bring me the half-formed idea.
From there, I can help with location scouting, timelines, logistics, permits, vendor recommendations, outfit coordination, lighting, and all the tiny details you probably don’t want to spend three hours Googling.
Your experience shouldn’t require you to become an expert in photography just to get photographs you love.
Your photos should actually feel like your life
You aren’t hiring a photographer because you need proof that everyone stood in the same place wearing nice clothes.
You want to remember what it felt like.
The way your person looked at you when no one else was paying attention. Your mom fixing something on your dress. Wind coming off the coast and completely wrecking the hair you spent an hour doing. Your family laughing so hard that whatever perfectly composed photograph we could have taken becomes completely irrelevant.
Those are the photographs that become yours.
So while you’ll absolutely get the photos where everyone is looking at the camera, your gallery isn’t built around performing for one.
You’ll be given direction when you need it. You’ll have someone paying attention to the light, the composition, your surroundings, and the little things that make a photograph beautiful.
But you’ll also have room to exist inside of it.
Hold each other. Move around. Talk. Laugh. Cry. Bring the dog. Wear the boots. Kiss in the rain.
You just need each other.
You never have to wonder what happens next
Being photographed can already feel vulnerable. Your experience around it shouldn’t feel uncertain, too.
Once you inquire, you’ll receive the information you need to choose the right collection and understand exactly what’s included. From there, we’ll talk through what you’re planning, what matters most to you, and what kind of support would make everything feel easier.
As your date gets closer, you won’t be left wondering when you’re supposed to hear from me again.
There are conversations to have, details to finalize, locations to scout, timelines to build, and questions you probably haven’t even thought of yet.
You don’t have to keep track of all of that alone.
I’m paying attention to the details so you can spend more of your energy actually looking forward to what you’re planning.
You get guidance without having your day taken over
There’s a difference between being supported and being directed through every second of your wedding day.
You should still get to have your wedding.
If the timeline needs adjusting because dinner ran late, we adjust it. If you want another five minutes alone after your ceremony, take them. If the weather changes, your dress gets dirty, somebody disappears when it’s time for family photos, or something happens that absolutely was not in the plan—we figure it out.
Your photographs matter, but they shouldn’t come at the expense of experiencing the thing you hired me to document.
I’ll step in when you need direction and step back when something deserves space.
You get to be present. You get to celebrate. You get to forget about the camera for a while.
I’ll still be watching.
You don’t have to wait weeks to see what it all looked like
There’s something slightly cruel about experiencing one of the biggest days of your life and then being told, “Cool, see you in six weeks.”
You’re still riding the high. Your family is asking for photos. Your camera roll is full of blurry screenshots and whatever your friends managed to capture.
So I don’t make you wait that long.
Wedding and elopement galleries receive 100+ preview images within 24–48 hours, so while everything still feels fresh, you already have photographs that bring you right back into it.
You’ll also receive behind-the-scenes snippets throughout your experience—the imperfect little pieces that complement the polished photographs and let you see parts of the day you might have missed.
And when your complete gallery arrives, you’ll receive your photographs in both high-resolution and web-size formats, along with access to a professional print store so they don’t have to live forever inside your phone.
Because eventually, some of these photographs deserve a frame.
You’re hiring someone who cares about the experience as much as the photographs
Beautiful photographs are the baseline.
The experience surrounding them matters just as much.
You should feel like you can ask questions without worrying that you’re bothering someone. You should feel comfortable saying, “This is really important to me.” You should have someone who notices when you need guidance and knows when to give you space.
And when plans change—as they inevitably do—you should have someone beside you who can adapt without making the entire thing feel like a crisis.
That’s the kind of experience I want you to have.
Not because every wedding, elopement, or session needs to be perfectly planned.
Because you should be able to trust that it doesn’t have to be.
At the end of it all, you should recognize yourself
Not a Pinterest version of you.
Not a recreation of somebody else’s wedding.
Not a gallery full of poses that looked beautiful but never really felt like you.
You.
Your people. Your relationship. Your weird little mannerisms. The landscape you chose. The weather you got. The things that went according to plan and the stories that absolutely did not.
Years from now, you probably won’t remember what your photography timeline said happened at 4:15 p.m.
But you’ll remember how it felt when you see the photograph.
That’s the whole point.
Ready to make it yours?
If you’re looking for an Oregon wedding, elopement, couples, or lifestyle photographer and you want more than someone who simply shows up with a camera, I’d love to hear what you’re dreaming up.
Bring me the fully planned wedding, the half-formed elopement idea, the location you found on Pinterest, or the “we know we want photos, but that’s about as far as we’ve gotten” message.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you reach out.
Your vision is enough to start. We’ll figure out the rest together.
